Psalms 132: A Place for the Lord

Psalm 132 is titled A Song of Ascents. It remembers how David vowed not to rest until he found a place for Yahweh. The people went to worship at God's footstool and asked God to arise to his resting place with the ark. Yahweh swore to David to set his descendant on the throne. Yahweh chose Zion as his home and promised to bless it.
