Psalms 123: Our Eyes Look to God

Psalm 123 is titled A Song of Ascents. The singer lifts his eyes to God, who sits in the heavens. As servants watch their master's hand, so our eyes look to Yahweh until he has mercy on us. The people ask for mercy because they have endured much scorn from the proud.
