Looking Up to God

Name Date

Read the Story

Psalm 123 is a Song of Ascents. The singer looks up to God in heaven.

A servant watches his master's hand. He waits to see what the master wants. In the same way, God's people look to God. They ask God to show them mercy. Proud people had been mean to them. So they looked to God for help.

Memory Verse

“Have mercy on us, Yahweh, have mercy on us, for we have endured much contempt.”

Psalms 123:3 (WEB)
