Nahum 1: God Is a Stronghold

Nahum 1:1 calls this a revelation about Nineveh and the book of the vision of Nahum the Elkoshite. Nahum says Yahweh is slow to anger and great in power, and he does not leave the guilty unpunished. Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, and he knows those who take refuge in him. God promises to break the yoke off his people, and good news of peace is coming.
