Nahum 1:1 says this is the vision of Nahum. It is about the city of Nineveh. Nahum says God is slow to anger. God is great in power.

Yahweh is good. He is a safe place in the day of trouble. He knows the people who run to him. God said he would break the heavy yoke off his people. Good news of peace was coming.
