Acts 5: We Must Obey God

Ananias and his wife Sapphira lied about the price of land they sold, and both died, and great fear came on the church. The apostles did many signs, and people brought the sick to be healed. The jealous high priest put the apostles in prison, but an angel opened the doors and sent them back to teach. Before the council Peter said they must obey God rather than men; Gamaliel advised leaving them alone, and they left rejoicing and kept teaching about Jesus.
