Obadiah 1: Pride Brought Low

Obadiah 1:1 calls this book the vision of Obadiah. It is a message from Yahweh about Edom, the people of Esau. Edom was proud and lived high in the rocks. When Judah was in trouble, Edom did not help their brother Jacob. Yahweh says pride will be brought low. The book ends with hope: the kingdom will be Yahweh's.
