Genesis 39: Joseph in Potiphar's House

Joseph was a slave in the house of Potiphar, an Egyptian officer. The Lord was with Joseph and made everything he did succeed, so Potiphar put him in charge of his whole house. Potiphar's wife tried again and again to tempt Joseph to sin, but Joseph refused, saying, How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God? When he ran away from her, she lied about him, and Joseph was put in prison. But even in prison, the Lord was with Joseph and showed him kindness.
