Joseph Does What Is Right

Name Date

Read the Story

Joseph was a slave in Egypt. He worked in the house of a man named Potiphar. Joseph worked hard, and God was with him. Potiphar put Joseph in charge of everything in his house.

Potiphar's wife wanted Joseph to do something wrong. Joseph said no. He would not sin against God. She kept asking, but Joseph kept saying no. One day he ran away from her.

Potiphar's wife told a lie about Joseph, and Joseph was put in prison. That was not fair! But God was still with Joseph. God was kind to him, and the jailer put Joseph in charge of the prison.

Memory Verse
