Genesis 30: Jacob's Family Grows

Rachel and Leah competed for Jacob's love, and each gave her servant to Jacob as a wife, as was common then. Many children were born: in all, eleven sons and a daughter, Dinah, by the end of the chapter. God remembered Rachel and she bore Joseph. Jacob then made an agreement with Laban for speckled and spotted animals, and God blessed Jacob so that his flocks grew greatly.
