Daniel 8: The Ram and the Goat

Daniel 8 tells of a vision Daniel saw by the river Ulai. A ram with two horns pushed in every direction, until a male goat with a notable horn struck it down. Then the goat's big horn broke, and four horns came up; then a little horn grew proud. A voice said, Gabriel, make this man understand the vision. Gabriel explained that the ram is the kings of Media and Persia and the goat is the king of Greece. A proud king would rise, but he will be broken without hand.
