2 Peter 2: Warning About False Teachers

2 Peter 2 warns that false teachers will arise, bringing destructive teachings and exploiting people with deceptive words. God judged angels who sinned, the ancient world in Noah’s day and Sodom and Gomorrah, yet he rescued Noah and righteous Lot. So the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials. The false teachers are bold, greedy and deceitful, like Balaam. Peter calls them wells without water and says they promise freedom while they are slaves of corruption.
