2 Peter 2 · Grade 3
Wells Without Water
Read the Story
Peter says false prophets came long ago, and false teachers will also come. Many will follow them, and the way of the truth will be spoken against. They will use deceptive words to get money from people.
But God sees. He did not spare the old world. He kept Noah safe, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others. He rescued righteous Lot too. The Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials.
Peter says false teachers are like wells without water and clouds driven by a storm. They promise freedom, but they are slaves to sin. It is sad when people know the way of righteousness and then turn away from it.
Memory Verse
“These are wells without water, clouds driven by a storm, for whom the blackness of darkness has been reserved forever.”
