When Solomon finished praying, fire came down from heaven and Yahweh's glory filled the house. The people bowed and praised God, for he is good. After the feast, God appeared to Solomon at night and promised to hear, forgive, and heal when his people humble themselves, pray, seek his face, and turn from their wicked ways.
