Psalms 43: Send Out Your Light and Your Truth

Psalm 43 has no title in the text. The writer asks God to defend him against deceitful and wicked people. He feels rejected and sad, yet he calls God the God of my strength. He prays, Oh, send out your light and your truth. Let them lead me to your holy hill. Then he will go to the altar of God, to God, my exceeding joy, and praise him on the harp. Like Psalm 42, it ends, Why are you in despair, my soul? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him: my Savior, my helper, and my God.
