Micah 7 · Grade 3
Waiting for God
Read the Story
Micah felt like someone looking for fruit after the harvest. He could find no good fruit. It was hard to find a godly person. Even friends and families did not trust each other.
But Micah said, as for me, I will look to Yahweh. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. When I fall, I will arise. When I sit in darkness, Yahweh will be a light to me.
Micah asked God to shepherd his people with his staff. Then he praised God. Who is a God like you? He pardons sin. He delights in loving kindness. He will again have compassion on us. He will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.
Memory Verse
“Who is a God like you, who pardons iniquity, and passes over the disobedience of the remnant of his heritage? He doesn’t retain his anger forever, because he delights in loving kindness.”
