Joshua 2: Rahab Hides the Spies

Joshua sends two spies to Jericho. They stay at the house of a woman named Rahab. When the king looks for them, Rahab hides them under flax on her roof. She says she knows Yahweh has given Israel the land, for He is God in heaven above and on earth beneath. She asks them to spare her family. The spies promise, and she lets them down by a cord through her window. She ties a scarlet line in the window as the sign.
