Job 16: My Witness Is in Heaven

Job calls his friends miserable comforters. He says that if they were in his place, he would strengthen them with his mouth and relieve them with his lips. He describes how worn out and broken he feels. Yet he says, Even now, behold, my witness is in heaven. He who vouches for me is on high. His eyes pour out tears to God, and he longs for someone to maintain his right with God.
