Jeremiah 47: A Message About the Philistines

Jeremiah 47 is God's message about the Philistines, who lived by the sea in cities like Gaza and Ashkelon. Trouble is coming on them like a flood from the north. The chapter asks the sword of the Lord how long it will be before it rests. It cannot rest, because God has given it a command. God rules over every nation, even Israel's old enemies.
