Genesis 33: Jacob and Esau Make Peace

Jacob saw Esau coming with four hundred men. He went ahead of his family and bowed to the ground seven times. But Esau ran to meet him, hugged him, kissed him, and they wept together. Jacob urged Esau to accept his gift, saying that seeing Esau's face was like seeing the face of God. The brothers parted in peace. Jacob settled near Shechem, bought land, and built an altar called El-Elohe-Israel.
