Exodus 40: The Glory Fills the Tabernacle

On the first day of the first month of the second year, God told Moses to set up the tabernacle. Moses put the ark inside behind the veil, set the table, lampstand and golden altar in the holy place, placed the bronze altar and basin in the court, and hung the screen at the gate. He anointed everything and dressed and anointed Aaron and his sons as priests. Moses did everything as the Lord commanded. Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle so that even Moses could not enter. Throughout their journeys, Israel moved on when the cloud lifted, and it stayed over the tabernacle by day, with fire in it by night.
