Acts 17: The God Who Made the World

In Thessalonica Paul reasoned from the Scriptures that the Christ had to suffer and rise, and some believed, but others stirred up a crowd. The people in Berea received the word eagerly and examined the Scriptures daily. In Athens, a city full of idols, Paul spoke at the Areopagus about the God who made the world, who gives life and breath to all and is not far from each one of us. He called all people to repent, pointing to the man God raised from the dead. Some mocked, others wanted to hear more, and some believed.
