2 Corinthians 9: A Cheerful Giver

Paul writes that he has boasted about the Corinthians' readiness to give, and he is sending the brothers ahead so their gift will be ready as a willing offering and not something forced. Whoever sows sparingly will reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will reap generously. Each person should give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under pressure, for God loves a cheerful giver. God is able to make all grace overflow, so that believers have enough for every good work. Their generosity will supply the needs of God's people and overflow in many thanksgivings to God. Paul ends with thanks to God for His indescribable gift.
