2 Corinthians 6: Now Is the Day

Paul urges the Corinthians not to receive God's grace in vain, because now is the acceptable time and the day of salvation. He describes how he and his co-workers have served God through great endurance, hardships, and sleepless nights, and also through purity, kindness, the Holy Spirit, and sincere love. They are sorrowful yet always rejoicing, poor yet making many rich, having nothing yet possessing everything. Paul has opened his heart wide to the Corinthians and asks them to open their hearts in return. He warns them not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, because they are the temple of the living God, who promises to be their Father.
