2 Chronicles 24: Joash Repairs God's House

Joash was seven when he became king. He did right all the days of Jehoiada the priest. He set out to repair Yahweh's house, and a chest was set at the gate for gifts. The people gave gladly and filled it. After Jehoiada died, Joash and the leaders turned to idols. God sent prophets, including Zechariah son of Jehoiada, but they would not listen.
