Read the Story

Paul told Timothy to treat people in the church like family. Treat older men like fathers. Treat older women like mothers. Treat younger people like brothers and sisters.

Some women were widows. That means their husbands had died. Paul said to honor and help them. Children and grandchildren should care for their own family first. This pleases God.
