1 Corinthians 2: God's Wisdom by the Spirit

Paul reminds the Corinthians that when he first came to them he did not use fancy speech. He decided to know nothing among them except Jesus Christ and Him crucified, so that their faith would rest on God's power, not on human wisdom. Paul speaks God's hidden wisdom, which God prepared for those who love Him. God has revealed these things through His Spirit, who searches even the deep things of God. The Spirit helps believers understand what God has freely given them.
