Zephaniah 3 · Grade 2

God Is Happy with You

Name Date

Read the Story

The people in Jerusalem did not listen to God. They did not trust him. But God is always good. Every morning he does what is right.

God said one day his people would call on his name. Then Zephaniah told his people to sing and shout! Be glad! God is with you. Do not be afraid. God loves you. He is so happy that he sings over you!

Memory Verse

“Yahweh, your God, is among you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing.”

Zephaniah 3:17 (WEB)
