Zephaniah 2 · Grade 3

Seek Humility

Name Date

Read the Story

Zephaniah said, gather yourselves together. Come before the day of Yahweh's anger. Seek Yahweh, all you humble of the land. Seek righteousness. Seek humility.

God spoke about nations near Judah. Moab and Ammon had insulted God's people. They thought they were great. God said he had heard them. Their pride would not last.

God made a promise to his people. The sea coast would become pastures for shepherds. A remnant of Judah would find pasture there. One day people everywhere would worship Yahweh.

Memory Verse

“Seek Yahweh, all you humble of the land, who have kept his ordinances. Seek righteousness. Seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of Yahweh’s anger.”
