Listen to God
Read the Story
Zephaniah 1:1 says God's word came to Zephaniah. It was in the days of King Josiah.
Many people had stopped following God. They loved other gods. Zephaniah told people to be silent before God. A day was coming when God would make things right. Gold and silver could not help. Only God can help.
Memory Verse
“Be silent at the presence of the Lord Yahweh, for the day of Yahweh is at hand. For Yahweh has prepared a sacrifice. He has consecrated his guests.”
