Holy, Righteous, and Good
Read the Story
Paul asks, is the law sin? He answers, "May it never be!" The law showed Paul what sin is. It said, do not want what belongs to others.
"Therefore the law indeed is holy, and the commandment holy, righteous, and good."
Paul says he had a struggle inside. He wanted to do good things. But he did things he did not want to do. He loved God's law in his heart. But sin fought against him.
Paul felt sad and asked who would set him free. Then he gave the answer. "I thank God through Jesus Christ, our Lord!"
