Greet One Another

Name Date

Read and Think

"I commend to you Phoebe, our sister, who is a servant of the assembly that is at Cenchreae," that they receive her in the Lord and help her, for she has been a helper of many, and of Paul too.

Paul greets Prisca and Aquila, his fellow workers in Christ Jesus, who risked their own necks for his life. Paul and all the assemblies of the Gentiles give thanks for them. He greets the assembly that is in their house, and many others by name who labored in the Lord.

Paul urges them to look out for those who cause divisions contrary to the teaching they learned, and to turn away from them. "For your obedience has become known to all. I rejoice therefore over you. But I desire to have you wise in that which is good, but innocent in that which is evil."

Timothy, Paul's fellow worker, greets them. "I, Tertius, who write the letter, greet you in the Lord." Gaius, Erastus, and Quartus send greetings too. Paul says the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with them.
