Revelation 20 · Grade 3

The Book of Life

Name Date

Read the Story

John saw an angel come down out of heaven. He held the key of the abyss and a great chain. He tied up the devil and shut him away for a thousand years, so he could not fool the nations.

John saw people who had stayed faithful to Jesus. They lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Later the devil tried to fight God’s people again, but God stopped him. The devil was defeated forever.

Then John saw a great white throne. The dead, great and small, stood before God. Books were opened, and another book was opened, the book of life. God judges fairly.

Memory Verse

“The devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are also. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever.”
