Psalms 78: Tell the Next Generation

Psalm 78 is a contemplation by Asaph, as the title says. It teaches the history of Israel so that children will set their hope in God and not forget his deeds. God split the sea, led with a cloud and fire, and gave water from the rock and manna from the sky. The people often forgot him, but God was merciful. He chose David to be their shepherd.
