Psalms 78 · Grade 2
Tell the Children
Read the Story
Asaph said, Hear my teaching, my people. I will tell you about God. We will tell the children what God did.
God split the sea. He led his people with a cloud by day and a fire at night. He gave water from a rock. He gave them bread from the sky. Then God chose David to be their shepherd.
Memory Verse
“We will not hide them from their children, telling to the generation to come the praises of Yahweh, his strength, and his wondrous deeds that he has done.”

Take It Home
For families: talk about these together.
- God gave His people food in the desert. What food are you thankful for?
- God wants each family to remember what He has done. What has a grown-up told you about God?
