Psalms 33: Sing to Him a New Song

Psalm 33 has no title in the text. It calls the righteous to rejoice in Yahweh and to sing a new song with lyre and harp. Yahweh's word is right, and the earth is full of his loving kindness. By Yahweh's word the heavens were made. He spoke, and it was done. His plans stand forever. He looks from heaven and sees all people. No king is saved by a big army, but Yahweh's eye is on those who fear him and hope in his loving kindness. The psalm ends, Let your loving kindness be on us, Yahweh, since we have hoped in you.
