God Heard Me

Name Date

Read the Story

The title says this psalm is by David. David called to Yahweh. He said, My rock, don't be deaf to me. He lifted up his hands and prayed.

Then David was glad. He said, Blessed be Yahweh, because he has heard the voice of my petitions. Yahweh is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. David asked God to be the shepherd of his people forever.

Memory Verse

“Yahweh is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him.”
