Psalms 17 · Grade 3
Hide Me Under Your Wings
Read the Story
The title says this is a Prayer by David. David asks, Hear, Yahweh, my righteous plea. He says his steps have held fast to God's paths, and his feet have not slipped. He says, I have called on you, for you will answer me, God.
David asks God to show his marvelous loving kindness. He prays, Keep me as the apple of your eye. Hide me under the shadow of your wings. Wicked people were all around him. But David ends with hope: As for me, I shall see your face in righteousness.
