Psalms 124 · Grade 2

God Is on Our Side

Name Date

Read the Story

The title of Psalm 124 calls it A Song of Ascents by David. He asks what would have happened if Yahweh had not been on our side. Things would have been very bad.

But God was on their side! God helped them get away. They were like a bird caught in a trap. Then the trap broke, and the bird flew free. David says, our help is in Yahweh's name. He made heaven and earth.

Memory Verse

“Our help is in Yahweh’s name, who made heaven and earth.”
