Light for My Path

Name Date

Read the Story

Psalm 119 has no title. It is the longest chapter in the Bible. Almost every verse talks about God's word.

The singer asks, how can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. He says, I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

He loves God's law and thinks about it all day. He says, your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path. At the end he says he has gone astray like a lost sheep. He asks God to seek him.

Memory Verse

“Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path.”
