Psalms 108 · Grade 3

Waking the Dawn

Name Date

Read the Story

Psalm 108 is titled A Song. A Psalm by David. David begins, My heart is steadfast, God. I will sing and I will make music with my soul.

He calls to his instruments: Wake up, harp and lyre! He will wake up the dawn with his praise. He will give thanks to Yahweh among the nations. God's loving kindness is great above the heavens.

Then David prays for help. He asks God to save with his right hand. He says the help of man is vain. But through God, we will do valiantly. David trusts God more than people.

Memory Verse

“For your loving kindness is great above the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.”
