Like a Tree

Name Date

Read the Story

Psalm 1 tells about a blessed man. He does not walk in the counsel of the wicked. He does not sit with people who mock. He delights in Yahweh's law. He thinks about it day and night.

He is like a tree planted by streams of water. It gives its fruit in its season. Its leaf does not dry up. The wicked are not like that. They are like chaff that the wind blows away. Yahweh knows the way of the righteous.

Memory Verse

“He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that produces its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper.”
