Numbers 29 · Grade 3
Trumpets, Atonement, and Booths
Read the Story
The seventh month held three holy times. The first day was a day of blowing of trumpets. It was a holy convocation, and no one did regular work.
On the tenth day, the people afflicted their souls and did no work. Offerings were made, along with the sin offering of atonement.
On the fifteenth day, they began to keep a feast to Yahweh seven days. On the first day they offered thirteen bulls, and each day one fewer, down to seven. The eighth day was a solemn assembly. Moses told Israel all that Yahweh commanded.
Memory Verse
