Nehemiah Hears Sad News
Read the Story
Nehemiah lived far from home. He served a king. One day some men came from Jerusalem. Nehemiah asked them how it was.
They had sad news. The wall of the city was down. The gates were burned. The people were in trouble.
Nehemiah sat down and cried. He did not eat. He prayed to God for days. He asked God to help him talk to the king.
Memory Verse
““Now these are your servants and your people, whom you have redeemed by your great power and by your strong hand.”
