Micah 5 · Grade 3
Small Town, Great King
Read the Story
Micah speaks to Bethlehem Ephrathah. It was small among the clans of Judah. But out of it would come one who is to be ruler in Israel. His goings out are from of old, from ancient times.
He will stand and shepherd in the strength of Yahweh. The people will live safely. He will be great to the ends of the earth. He will be our peace.
The remnant of Jacob will be like dew from Yahweh among many peoples. God also says he will take away idols. His people will no more worship the work of their hands. In the New Testament, Jesus is born in Bethlehem.
Memory Verse
