Micah 1:1 says Yahweh's word came to Micah. Micah told all people to listen. He said the whole earth should hear.

God was coming from his holy temple. The mountains would melt like wax. This was because of the sins of God's people. Their cities were Samaria and Jerusalem. Micah was very sad. He cried for his people.
