  3. How will the Son of Man's coming be like lightning? It will be seen by everyone at once, like lightning across the sky.
  4. Why should Jesus' followers stay ready? No one knows the day or the hour of His return.

Grade 5The Day No One Knows

  1. What historical event fulfilled Jesus' prediction about the temple? Its destruction by Rome in AD 70
  2. What do birth pains mean in Jesus' teaching? Signs that the age is moving toward its end, but not the exact date
  3. How will Jesus' return differ from what false teachers claim? It will be public, glorious and unmistakable, not secret.
  4. What does the example of Noah's day teach? People will be unprepared, going about normal life, when Jesus suddenly returns.
  5. What makes a servant ready for his master's return? Faithfully doing his master's will all the time, not knowing the date
