Malachi 1 · Grade 3
My Name Is Great
Read the Story
Malachi 1:1 calls this a revelation, Yahweh's word to Israel by Malachi. God said, I have loved you. The people asked, how have you loved us? God showed them his care for Jacob's family.
God said, a son honors his father, and a servant his master. If I am a father, then where is my honor? The priests offered blind, lame, and sick animals. God said, Present it now to your governor! Will he be pleased with you?
God said, From the rising of the sun even to its going down, my name is great among the nations. God is a great King. He deserves our best.
Memory Verse
“For from the rising of the sun even to its going down, my name is great among the nations, and in every place incense will be offered to my name, and a pure offering; for my name is great among the nations,” says Yahweh of Armies.”
