Read the Story

Yahweh told Jonah to go to Nineveh. It was a great city. But Jonah ran away. He went down to Joppa and got on a ship to Tarshish.

Yahweh sent a great wind. A big storm hit the sea. The sailors were afraid. Jonah was fast asleep. Jonah said the storm came because of him. The men threw him into the sea, and the sea was calm. Then Yahweh sent a huge fish to swallow Jonah.
