Jeremiah 19: The Broken Jar

In Jeremiah 19 God tells Jeremiah to buy a clay jar and take some of the elders with him. In front of them Jeremiah breaks the jar. A broken jar cannot be made whole again. It was a sign that Jerusalem would be broken because the people had forsaken God and refused to listen.
